Thrilled by Rijeka’s history and disappointed with how little people know about it, we decided to bring Rijeka’s stories closer to city’s youngsters. And we did it in collaboration with Kantoon shop. Since a good story goes a long way, we depicted Rijeka’s history through illustrated stories on T-shirts which immediately draw attention. They combine visual and textual, while design always keeps some historical element adapted to modern visual language.
So far, four T-shirts have been made: Rope factory, Chocolate factory Elephant, Sugar refinery and Balthazargrad. Each story has a pair of its patrons whose mission is to spread the word as far as it can go.
